Following on from my previous post, I'd got a bit worked up about what I should be doing and couldn't think straight and got hung up on what to use as the subject of my next linocut. My friend Helen, who has a blog RabbitArt that you can follow for succulents, ceramics and glittery loveliness, gave me a sympathetic and practical ear and some prompt suggestions in the form of images of some of her plants. So I picked this one. It's not finished yet but it broke the self imposed paralysis and got some motivation going. This is a work in process. I'm a bit scared that further work on it will go wrong but I already have impetus for other things that I have been considering.
